Bermondsey has been dubbed a ‘foodies paradise’ due to its markets and popular restaurants. Its quintessential market ‘Malty Street Market’ is an outdoor street market operating on the weekends, home to over thirty fresh produce stalls. Not only this but there is a bounty of street food available also! So you can enjoy a fresh, delicious lunch while shopping around for ingredients for your fresh, delicious homemade dinner later. The majority of homes in Bermondsey overlook the Thames, seeing as it is notably a riverside location. As well as this, you can also find yourself with fantastic views stretching out over Central London. Locals comment that their homes are graced with views of Tower Bridge, the Thames of course and also London Bridge. This means that iconic London buildings such as the Shard can also be viewed, and admired, from your doorstep. They’re also incredibly close in proximity! You could be out for a divine dinner in the Shard and not be too far from your nice warm bed at the end of it all.

As previously stated, Bermondsey is incredibly close to Central London. - Of course, Maltby Street Market! Swing by every weekend for delectable street food and fabulously fresh produce. It’s also popular with locals, so you can socialize to your hearts content.
- Bermondseys Fashion and Texture Museum is very popular among its artsy community base.
- Southwark Park boasts a bandstand, cafe, art gallery and childrens play rarea. There are several smaller parks in and around Bermondsey, with Bermondsey Spa Gardens being particularly popular with families due to its numerous children’s facilities.
