What can I expect from a serviced apartment?

(The serviced apartment industry is important in accommodation and even relocation. Reports say it accounts for nearly 25% of all business visits to the UK!)

Serviced apartments have been a popular type of accommodation for over ten (10) years. Over the years, they have been used as a short term rental option for both business and leisure travellers. They are not a new type of lodging, but they have significantly grown in popularity over the years.

What can I expect from a stay in a serviced apartment?

A typical service apartment guest can expect to have access to a variety of amenities and services. A fully-equipped kitchen with a fridge, freezer, microwave, and a good selection of kitchen utensils are usually among the amenities and services available.

Depending on the size and location, housekeeping and room service may be available. This can also include access to facilities such as on-site gyms, swimming pools, restaurants, and meeting rooms.

Serviced apartments come in a variety of shapes, sizes, and specifications. However, having the freedom, flexibility, and space to enjoy your trip your way is the most important benefit for guests who choose this type of accommodation, in our opinion.

A serviced apartment is not the same as a hotel room. They come as fully furnished accommodation to make it feel like home and provide a variety of services similar to those found in very good hotels. They are supposed to give you a feeling of being home while away from home.

Aside from being less expensive, serviced apartments can offer significantly more space than a standard hotel room. In some cases, a serviced apartment can be twice the size of a hotel room, ensuring guests’ comfort and, ultimately, privacy.

All of these hotel-like and home-like amenities do not have to be prohibitively expensive. Renting a serviced apartment can be extremely cost-effective at the end of the day, whether you are staying for a short or long period of time.
